This course offers in-depth lessons in terms, techniques and designs used in the floral industry. The course is designed to meet the learning objectives established by the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD) to complete specific design categories. This and subsequent courses will ultimately enable students to enroll as candidates aiming to become a Certified Floral Designer (CFD) and an Accredited member of AIFD. Depending on the individual’s floral background, the course is aiming to prepare candidates for the 2016 AIFD Symposium to be held in Anaheim, CA, where the PFDE (Professional Floral Design Evaluation) hands-on design evaluation take place. (The PFDE is held annually just before the AIFD Symposium begins.)
* A flower fee will be charged separately.
