In this course, students will focus on the steps, such as brainstorming, outlining, drafting and rewriting, needed in writing longer business reports. These steps are necessary for writing general reports and proposals, and developing other marketing-related material. This course will also teach the student how to write an effective resumes and cover letters.

Dr. Brender taught a similar course in the School of Letters, Arts and Sciences II at Waseda University for a number of years. One of his students in the year-long course at that time was Sonomanma Higashi, a noted comedian, who later became the well-known politician Hideo Higashikokubaru (his birth name). Dr. Brender also teaches Magazine Article Writing and Beating the TOEIC in the Open College.
