An intermediate level English class, students will discuss recent issues in the news. Every week the students will read articles from newspapers and magazines, form opinions, and discuss their views. Topics will depend on the interests of the students, but may include the environment, politics, international affairs, popular culture, and the arts. Being able to discuss recent events in the news and related issues is very important for English-speaking people.
